Stray dogs

Dogs on the street (who are abandoned),mixed breed dogs or pariah dogs;they live on the street and are in danger of losing their lives every single second. But,given a chance they are one of the most friendly and loving companions .as per the law, street dogs cannot be beaten or driven away from their territory . Can merely be sterilised in the manner envisaged in the Animal  birth control (Dogs) rule ,2001 (Rules under Indian Prevention of Cruelity to Animal Act ,1960 ), vaccinated ,and then returned to their original locations . Also, no law prohibits feeding of street animals. people ,who interfere with the effort ,or display aggression , can be held liable for having committed the offence described in the Indian penal code and criminal intimidation.

many NGOs like welfare of stray dogs ,In Defence of Animal and others have taken it on to themselves for getting them vaccinated and spayed/neutered some also arrange for adoptions of stray and adandoned  pets.

Take Them Home

They actually need people who will be kind to them and love have a heart .They are equality attentive, agile, playful, and intelligent .If you bring home one you will get an ideal family dog
so,may be next time you decide to bring home a pet look around ,you will surely found a smiling four legged friend on the road whose world can change with your decision .Give him a chance;you will never regret it
